Mann Fall, a young New York City actor, turns to his distant older cousin, Fennel, to help him battle a life threatening issue. Determined to beat his issue on his own, Mann conceals his sickness while pursuing personal relationships, acting in an off-Broadway play. Mann struggles to push forward, fighting off the inevitable, he finds fate is a more powerful force, and mortality a far greater foe, than imagined in his philosophy of survival. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, a tough young actor in New York purchases non-approved drugs on the black market from a sympathetic doctor. The treatment comes at a hefty premium, forcing the actor to hustle a different kind of drugs himself. He conceals his illness from his colleagues on the stage and in the game, but in seeking to alter his fate, he must face the consequences of his choices.
